Interactive 360°
online museum with a docent
The interaction website that users can experience Nexon Computer Museum, one of the famous Jeju attractions in Korea, with 360° video. Users can slowly walk around the museum while a docent explains each exhibitions. More information shows up on the screen, when users clicks the exhibitions. Moreover, there are hidden missions on every floor. Users can explore the museum as they enjoy the missions and enter for various events.
Immersive 360° Experience
The nature of 360° camera, every angle were taken except the bottom of the camera. To make an experience with a docent in an empty museum, we shot the museum on the day of closure. After the preparation, we fully used a day from early morning to late night to shoot four different floors in 360° camera. Later, we edited videos so that users can feel like they’re actually in the museum, even though they are watching on the web. We also inserted 2D sources between the intro and 360° videos to make the content look more realistic and smoother.
Wearing VR HMD
Completed 360° Virtual Museum video content is available in Samsung gear VR, Oculus Rift and other HMD VR devices. Our content added more interest to VR device experience.
Retro Games Interaction
We placed various game missions that are related to each floors’ theme. On the first floor, users can participated in ‘Game Music Quiz’. The way to participate the ‘Game Music Quiz’, users simply have to listen to the given game music and predict the name of the game. We also recreated the existing shooting game ‘Galaga’, typing game ‘Venice’, and ping-pong game ‘Pong’ into Html5 and placed them on other floors as well, so users could easily enjoy and play them.
